First Marriage Then Love 《先婚厚爱》Chapter 38 Translation

Warning: PG-13

038. Morning

It was dawn. The morning light is shining through the curtains. The morning wind blows in between the window gap, slowly lifting the rice-white curtains.

An Ran turns slowly, to hazily see the faint expression of the man beside her, holding her while sleeping soundly. She then turns red, bashful. Everything that transpired last night seemed as if it were a dream, truly unnatural. She can confirm the fact that men with experience really can reduce the pain of a woman’s first time. The moment he entered her last night, although it was as if she was being ripped apart, but it wasn’t as bad as what Lin Li had said, so painful that it throws out the back.

An Ran looks at the man sleeping soundly beside, not allowing a moment to blink. Her gaze impudent and brazen, this is the first time that she is looking at him so earnestly. He really is good looking. Strong, thick eyebrows, tall nose bridge. An Ran even just found out that even his eyelashes were long, like a woman’s; dense and fine and black. But it’s not the same, his eyebrows although long, doesn’t lift up, so it doesn’t give off a feminine feeling.

As An Ran looks on, she suddenly reaches out mischievously, softly brushing across those delicate long lashes, only to see Su Yi Cheng’s eyelid move faintly. However, he does not waken right away. An Ran, feeling that it was really fun, reaches out and brushes them again and again, as if she would not get tired of it, to the extent that she hasn’t noticed that the corner of the mouth of a certain someone was curving up handsomely.

Because she was scared that he would waken, An Ran holds her tongue, not moving at all. After last night, An Ran became a coward, afraid that when he wakes up the two would face each other awkwardly with four eyes. So she begins to slyly withdraw from his embrace.

She carefully grabs and lifts the hand resting on her waist. She moves as gently as possible to escape the hand that she is propping up, but in the next instant, the man behind her pulls on her softly, holding her and running his hands about her as he seizes the embrace once again, chin resting against her forehead. “Where you going?”

Su Yi Cheng’s hug and his appearance was unburdened, not as good as his refined, gentle appearance. His hug carries a strong possessive desire. One hand wraps around her, the other places itself on her lower back. His large palm presses against her stiff buttocks, four limbs stifling her even more, as if he wanted her to merge into his body.

That kind of intimate skinship made An Ran’s face turn red. “I-it’s morning.” An Ran says stiffly.

“Yeah.” Su Yi Cheng quietly replies. His large palms continue to caress her smooth back. “It’s still early. Let’s sleep some more.”

An Ran had slept well, embarrassed, ashamed, and she couldn’t even clearly say what her mood was like right now. She raises her head and looks at him, only to see his eyes still closed, doubting that he was still somewhat awake. “I-I’ll make breakfast.”

Hearing that, Su Yi Cheng suddenly opens his eyes, meeting her eyes right then. An Ran immediately blushes and lowers her head to avoid his eyes. Everything that had happened last night was still vivid in her mind, those shameful scenes only made An Ran feel embarrassed.

The corner of Su Yi Cheng’s mouth rises into a smile. To him, her red face made her extremely adorable. He gives her lowered forehead a kiss, asking as he smiles, “Hungry?”

In actuality, she wasn’t starving, however An Ran just wanted to hurry up and leave, leave this room, away from this man. Nodding furiously, she says, “Yeah. Let me get up, I’m starving.”

“Ok.” Su Yi Cheng replies absentmindedly. His large palms support her back. He runs it along her and pushes her closer to his chest, not allowing even a single crack between them. Then that dark, husky voice speaks into her ears, stiffly saying, “Yeah. I’m hungry too.”

An Ran turns stiff, not daring to budge. She can obviously feel the solid thing pressing up between her legs, her instincts giving her a bad premonition. The smile on her face is stiff. “I I I, I’ll get up and make you something.”

Su Yi Cheng laughs and arches his brows. That place had just woken up and was like a mist. He stares at An Ran. Under the covers, he turns his body to lean on her, drawing her body closer so she can feel even more clearly his early morning high-spirit. Evilly biting his lips, he smiles, “It’s ok. There’s stuff already made.”

“Uh…W-where.” An Ran was made dizzy. She awkwardly smiles at him, continuing to lean towards the back.

Su Yi Cheng laughs. Her defence hasn’t loosened an inch even when knocking. He only laughs. “You!”

An Ran panicked, quickly saying, “Su Su Su Yi Cheng it’s already morning we wuuu—“

An Ran didn’t have the chance to open her mouth. Su Yi Cheng turns over and presses down on her, enjoying his delicious ‘breakfast’.

When An Ran woke up again the lightness of the sky outside was already bright. Today’s weather was really nice. The sun was shining brightly, according to how well the room was lit from the inside. The Su Yi Cheng beside her had also gone away a while ago. An Ran props herself up halfway, only to then discover her entire body was aching as if something was pushing down on her, causing her whole body to lose strength. In her heart she furiously swears at Lin Li that chit. But this time around, joining with Su Yi Cheng, she also didn’t evade it.

She reaches out and grabs the cellphone from the cabinet beside her. 9:50. Seeing that, she powerlessly puts the phone down, closing her eyes. She lies down intending to let her body recuperate for a bit. Only the next instant that she had closed her eyes, An Ran’s pair of eyes suddenly widen, her body also shoots up ignoring the soreness. Once again grabbing the cellphone. “9:50!” God, she has a meeting this morning!

She really couldn’t take care of anything else. She jumps up, wrapping a blanket around her and takes out some clothes from the armoire, heading to the bathroom afterwards. She quickly bathes and changes and puts on light makeup. When she was anxiously preparing to go to work she suddenly catches a glimpse of her own neck, covered with hickeys. She stays shocked for a moment, her face then erupts into redness. She grabs some cover-up and ferociously pats it on her neck, muttering a few swears to Su Yi Cheng.

Even with a few good layers of the cover-up it couldn’t conceal the love bite that was left behind. In the end An Ran had no other choice but to use the scarf that she had bought yesterday, intending to gift it to Su Yi Jiao. Fortunately the weather today is expected to be chilly, so wearing a scarf wouldn’t seem too out of place.

When she was content with her presentability, she grabs her bag and immediately leaves, not noticing the heated sandwich and the brief message written on the kitchen counter.
